Vitamin
Wow! It's a Freaking Miracle! Permanent Nerve Damage, My Butt!
Submitted by yipeee on Tue, 07/03/2007 - 17:37.I'm post Effexor for 2 weeks now. I've added some more vitamins to the list but the one that seems to be the kick in the pants is Magesium Choride with Calcium (brand name: Slow-Mag). Also added Vits - D, E and C; Fish Oil, Garlic Oil, and Green Tea Extract. I was taking E and C in the past but just kind of got away from it.
B vitamins and peripheral neuropathies
Submitted by yipeee on Wed, 04/18/2007 - 01:04.I kept reading, at that message board I gave the link to in my previous blog, about the role of B vitamins, especially B-12 in the cause of neuropathies. A deficiency in B-12 can cause all kinds of symptoms but you won't necessarily put the symptoms together as all being caused by the same problem. Part of the reason is that the symptoms come on so slowly, so gradually, and at such different rates that there's no way you can see the connection. And the symptoms can be so varied.
More about my experiment with B vitamins and my peripheral neuropathy
Submitted by yipeee on Wed, 04/18/2007 - 01:04.According to my initial blog post regarding B-Vitamins, it's been 20 days since I began the B-Vitamins. Feels like it's been a bit longer. At any rate, I have good results to report as far as the symptoms in my feet. They've been reduced to a mere tingle at their worst and only at night now. Compared to the symptoms I was experiencing (see my initial blog post about the foot pain) these symptoms are a mere slight discomfort at their worst. They no longer prevent me from going to sleep.
