It's good to know
Less than 24 hours after our first public notice of Lyceum activity, I'm asked when will be other topics. And, in that same 24 hours, I was encouraged to find another Lyceum. If you are interested in my encouragement, read the article about the participation of Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the OpenCourseWare Consortium. There are urthling everywhere; some know URTH but most will eventually learn.
Here's the way Lyceum works: when a need is expressed for understanding and urthling hear that expressed need, a gathering is scheduled to increase community understanding of that need. There might be one expert or several or even none for that need, but Lyceum events increase levels of expertise in all who gather — all attending teach; all attending learn.
By the way, Asterisk PBX will have a Galax Lyceum in the very near future ... and so, too, DD-WRT.
